Who needs Deliverance and what does it mean! False Religions Mormon Religion

Mormon Religion

For those of you who do not know much about this false religion, I will give you in this article some of the main differences between their basic tenets and our basic tenets. As you will see in reviewing these basic differences, there is no way this religion could ever be considered to be a pure true branch of Christianity.

This religion started in the exact same way the false religion of Islam did – with a demonic spirit appearing as an angel of light to its original founder Joseph Smith.

Here is a very strong verse from our Bible telling us that we cannot accept another religion or another way even if it comes to us from an angel if it does not line up with the basic teachings of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ:

“But even if we, OR AN ANGEL FROM HEAVEN, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.” (Galatians 1:8)

If an angel would to appear to a man giving him a way that is not lining up with the basic teachings of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, then this angel is a demonic spirit trying to masquerade as one of God’s good angels, and what he is giving to someone thus cannot be accepted. This is why the false religions of Islam and Mormonism grew so fast and so wide – all because their original founders told everyone they were receiving direct divine revelation from one of God’s angels.

As a result of not knowing the true Word of God, they fell prey to these 2 demonic spirits masquerading as angels of light, and now we have millions of people across the world who are following these two false religions.

When you look at some of the basic tenets of this religion, there is simply no other conclusion to come to other than this religion has come straight from the pit of hell itself.

All we would recommend is that each Christian pray to God the Father on this issue. You will each have get your own answer from God and use your own discernment as to whether or not this would be a wise choice for our country.

Again, we really like Mitt Romney and his family. He is a good business man and has very good ideas on how to run our country. But we still have to take into consideration what kind of false, demonic, belief system he is following, and whether or not any of those false beliefs could affect the way he would run this country if he became our next sitting president.

Mitt Romney ran in the last presidential cycle and right in the middle of it, he was forced to get on national TV to share what his beliefs were in his relationship to Jesus Christ, since so many people did not know much about the Mormon religion he was following. He then gets on national TV and says that Jesus Christ is his true Lord and Savior.

However, what he did not mention or get into were some of the basic differences between the Mormon faith and the true Christian faith. As you will see when I give you some of these basic differences below, these differences are so extreme and so far apart from our basic tenets, that there is no way that the Mormon faith can ever be accepted as being a pure true branch of Christianity.

Basic Facts of the Mormon Religion

Here is a breakdown of what this false religion believes in, along with some basic facts as to who they are and how this religion had all started up.

1.  Joseph Smith founded this religion back in 1830. They are known as the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS).

They now have over 11 million people worldwide as active members. They have at least 300,000 new converts every year and are one of the fastest growing religions in the world today. They have at least 25-30 billion dollars in assets, which makes them the wealthiest of all of the religions.

2.  They are also trying to say they are part of the Christian faith and are making an attempt to try and blend in with us. But as you will see when I outline their basic tenets below, there is no way God the Father is ever going to accept this false religion as one of His own branches.

Joseph Smith founded this religion, as he thought that Christianity had become too corrupt over the years. In the year 1820, Joseph was praying in the woods near his home when he received a visitation from two “personages” who he thought were God the Father and God the Son. These two personages told Joseph that a new church was needed, since the Christian church had gone too far astray with all of the corruption that had entered into it.

3.  Then on September 21, 1823, Joseph asks for another vision and then an angel by the name of Moroni appeared to him and told him there was a book inscribed on two gold plates that would have an account of the one true gospel. He had to wait several more years before this angel told him where these plates were located at.

When he found these two gold plates, he then had these gold plates transcribed into what is now called the Book of Mormon. This was all done in 1830 and from there, he started to gain new converts to his new Mormon religion once he started to preach what he had discovered.

Then 3 years later, after writing the Book of Mormon, he writes another book called the Book of Commandments. Then two years later, he revises this book and calls it the Doctrine and Covenants. In this book are many of the basic beliefs of the Mormon religion.

The 4 main books that the Mormons now use as their standard works are the following:

  1. The King James Version of the Bible
  2. The Book of Mormon
  3. The Doctrine and Covenants
  4. The Pearl of Great Price

However, there is a little stipulation with our King James Bible. Their stipulation reads as follows: “The Bible is the word of God only as it is translated correctly.”

In other words, they believe our Bible has become somewhat corrupted throughout the years and cannot be totally trusted. However, they have no problems with their other 3 books being divinely inspired. Since they feel that our Bible has been partially corrupted throughout the years, they would prefer to rely more on the revelation of their own prophets.

One of their apostles by the name of Orson Pratt was quoted as saying that who in their right mind could suppose that the Bible in its present form could be a perfect guide for all of us to follow. They believe that their Book of Mormon is a miraculous translation from an ancient document and that is the one they should really follow.

Again, leave it to Satan to try and discredit the one and only true Word of God as he is setting up this false religion.

The Main Differences Between Christianity and Mormonism

Now here are some of the basic beliefs of this false religion. Notice that every single one of these basic beliefs are just the opposite of what we believe in as Christians.

1. The Mormon Religion is Polytheistic

They believe that the current God we now have ruling our earth is not eternal. Our current god has descended from an eternal progression of other gods before him. After our current god was created, he grew up as a man on another planet and then became a god as a result of obedience to certain laws and principles. From there, he had sex with a mother god and created millions of spirit children. Jesus was then the first born of these millions of spirit children.

However, our Bible tells us that both God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit are all co-eternal and have never been created. Our Bible also tells us that there are no other gods in existence, either now or before. Only God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit are co-eternal in the entire scheme of things. In other words, there are no other gods in existence now, and there have never been any other gods before the triune Godhead.

Mormons are thus polytheists, which means they believe there are many gods, not one God. Christianity is monotheistic, which means we believe there is only one God, but one God in three Divine Persons.

One of their basic sayings is: “As man is, God once was, and as God is, man may become.”

This statement just by itself is as heretical as you can possibly get. To say that God the Father was once a man and then became a god later on, and from there, to state that all humans can also become a god themselves, is about as blasphemous of a statement as you can possibly make.

This false religion has the hand of Satan all over it with the way it has twisted and distorted who God the Father really is as told to us by our Holy Bible.

Satan is once again using the same strategy he did in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve, telling them they will be LIKE GOD if they will eat the fruit off the one forbidden tree.

They also believe there are many planets out there which are ruled by these exalted man-gods who were once human beings like we are, along with believing that all of these other gods ruling these other worlds are equal to the God ruling our world.

However, our Bible teaches us just the exact opposite – that our God the Father was never a man, and that He has been God and Lord Himself for all of eternity. Here are 4 key verses proving this point to you:

  1. God is not a man, that He should lie …” (Numbers 23:19)

  2. “I will not execute the fierceness of My anger; I will not again destroy Ephraim. for I am God, and not man …” (Hosea 11:9)

  3. “Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever You had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.” (Psalm 90:2)

  4. For I am the Lord, I do not change …” (Malachi 3:6)

The first two verses very clearly and plainly state that God the Father is not a man in any way, shape or form. The last two verses then add more to this when it tells us that God has been God from everlasting to everlasting and that He does not change – ever! This means that God has never been a man – ever!

Now here are 8 more good verses from our Bible showing us that there is only one God, and that there are no other gods in existence next to our God the Father.

  1. “… yet for us there is only one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.” (1 Corinthians 8:6)

  2. “Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel, and his redeemer, the Lord of hosts: ‘I am the First and I am the Last; besides Me there is no God … Indeed there is no other Rock; I know not one.’ ” (Isaiah 44: 6,8)

  3. “To you it was shown, that you might know that the Lord Himself is God; there is none other besides Him … that the Lord Himself is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other.” (Deuteronomy 4:35-39)

  4. Before Me there was no God formed, nor shall there be after Me. I, even I, am the Lord, and besides Me there is no savior … Indeed before the day was, I am He; and there is no one who can deliver out of My hand; I work, and who will reverse it?” (Isaiah 43:10-13)

  5. For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done, saying ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure,’ … (Isaiah 46:9)

  6. “Look to Me, and be saved, all you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.” (Isaiah 45:22)

  7. I am the Lord, and there is no other; there is no God besides Me. I will gird you, though you have not known Me, that they may know from the rising of the sun to its setting that there is none besides Me. I am the Lord, and there is no other; I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity; I, the Lord, do all these things … I have made the earth, and created man on it.” (Isaiah 45:5-12)

  8. “For the Lord is great and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the people are idols.” (Psalm 96:4)

Again, these verses are as clear as they can possibly be. The Bible is clearly telling us that God the Father is the only God in existence, that there have never been any other gods before Him, that there will never be any other gods after Him, and that all of the other gods that man has created on this earth are nothing but idols before Him.

These set of verses right here completely separate us from the Mormon faith. There is no way God the Father is ever going to accept this kind of heresy, especially when the Bible very clearly spells all of this out for us.

2. God Has a Physical Body with Flesh-and-Bone

Since they believe that our current god was once a man, they believe he now has a physical body with flesh and bone in it. However, our Bible tells us that God the Father does not have a physical body, that He is Spirit.

Here is the verse that will show us that our God is “Spirit,” which means He can have no physical body with any flesh and bone in it.

“… the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” (John 4:23)

3. Lucifer is the Spirit-Brother of Jesus Christ

When our current god had sex with a mother god, Jesus was the first-born among the millions of spirit children who were born. And guess who was the 2nd person born among all of these spirit children? Lucifer himself. As a result, this now makes Jesus and Lucifer spirit-brothers in the big picture.

Our Bible tells us that there are no angels whatsoever who could be considered to be the brother of Jesus Christ, since Jesus is God and Lord Himself and is the 2nd Person of the Divine Trinity. All angels are created beings. And with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit never having been created, there is no way that any angel could ever be the direct spirit-brother of one of the Persons of this Divine Trinity.

Leave it to Satan, when forming out this new false religion, to try and put himself right in the middle of the Divine Trinity with him being one of the spirit-brothers of Jesus Christ. Unbelievable!

This now makes Jesus the elder brother of all men and spirit beings. And with Jesus being born later on when God the Father had sex with a mother god, this means they do not believe in our Trinity. To them the Trinity is now three separate gods, not one God.

4. Mormons Can Become a God Themselves

From there, Jesus was chosen to be the Savior of the world. And when Lucifer found out that God was going to pick Jesus to be the Savior, he rebelled and was then cast down onto the earth by the armies of heaven.

Jesus then grew up down here on this earth, got married, had several children, then died on a cross, resurrected with a new body, and then returned to heaven where He is now waiting to take the place of God the Father, who will then progress into another higher realm.

Mormons teach that Jesus suffered for us in the Garden of Gethsemane and that our salvation is conditional upon following all of the laws and ways of the Mormon church. And part of these laws and ways is following secret temple rituals which will eventually elevate them into becoming a god themselves.

They teach that every person who is born down here was once a spirit in heaven. And once you are born down here, you can eventually become a god yourself by following all of the Mormon ways. And once you become your own god, then you can have your own spirit children, and then they will eventually come down to this earth like you have and start the cycle all over again.

5. Mormons Are Saved by Doing Good Works

Since all spirit children are born up in heaven, they are born in a pure and innocent state. And since all spirit children are born with no sin nature in them, there is no need for any kind of atonement for a sinful state until they come down here upon this earth.

But once they are born into this world, salvation for them is simply doing good works, obeying all of the laws and ways of their church, resurrecting after they die, and then getting a new body so they can then enter into the first level of heaven which they call the celestial.

As a result, you are not saved by accepting Jesus Christ and His sacrificial death on the cross. You are saved by doing good works and and obeying the laws of the Mormon church, which makes eternal salvation for them conditional upon doing these good works.

Though they acknowledge Jesus actually dying on the cross, His death on the cross does not pay the full penalty for all of our sins. It just gives us the grace to be able to resurrect after we die. Gaining eternal salvation has to be done by doing good works and obeying all of the laws and ways of the Mormon church. In other words, we are resurrected by grace, but saved by doing good works.

Again, notice how Satan completely takes out the sacrificial death of Jesus on the cross as the only way to eternal salvation. He is once again replacing it with good works, which our Bible specifically says will not get us saved with the Lord. Leave it to Satan to take out the blood and the cross as the only way to eternal salvation with God the Father.

6. Only Mormons Will Reach the 1st Level of Heaven

Finally, all people will eventually end up in one of three places in heaven. They believe there are three levels in heaven. The 1st level is called the celestial, the 2nd level is called the terrestial, and the 3rd level is called the telestial.

The first level is where all of the good Mormons will go. They believe that only the people who have followed the ways of the Mormon church will be the ones who will get into this first level of heaven. The rest of the people on earth who are not Mormons will end up in either the second level or the third level of heaven.

Summary of Basic Beliefs of the Mormon Religion

So you can see all of these major false beliefs in a straight-forward and clear manner, here they are once again in a numbered, bolded format.

Also note that our basic Christian beliefs are just the exact opposite of all of these basic beliefs from the Mormon religion.

  1. God the Father is not eternal

  2. There have been many other gods in existence before the current god we now have which makes them polytheists

  3. God the Father was once a man who then later became a god

  4. God the Father has a physical body with flesh and bone in it

  5. God the Father had sex with a mother god, who then produced millions of spirit children, with Jesus being the first born of these children and Lucifer being the second born

  6. Jesus Christ is not eternal

  7. Lucifer is the spirit-brother of Jesus Christ

  8. Jesus Christ married while down here on this earth and had several children

  9. We are saved by doing good works and obeying the laws of the Mormon church, not by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and His sacrificial death on the cross

  10. We can all eventually progress into becoming gods ourselves

  11. All humans are first born as spirit children up in heaven in pure and innocent states with no fallen sinful nature that needs to be redeemed until they are born into this world

  12. They believe there are three levels in heaven and that only the good Mormons will enter the first level of heaven

When you first look at these basic tenets, and then compare them to our own basic Christian tenets, you will wonder how so many people could fall for something that is so far out there and so ridiculous. Again, I do not mean to be smug and arrogant, but these basic beliefs are so far out in left field, it is hard to believe that anyone could ever fall for such incredible lies that obviously were set up by Satan and his demons.

Not even Hollywood with all of their creative abilities to distort the truth could come up with such nonsense and far out explanations as to how everything began.

These basic tenets are literally beyond belief. And to think that millions of people have fallen for these kinds of lies and are still continuing to fall for it in this day and age. This shows how well Satan can still blind people as to what the real spiritual truths are in this life. And this is just one of the false religions that he still has operating in the world today. There are many other ones than just the Mormon religion.

Special Comment

As I was typing this article up, I came across a very interesting news article from www.christiannewstoday.com.

They have a short article about a Christian woman who has just written a book on the Mormon religion and Mitt Romney. She used to be a former Mormon bishop’s daughter and she left their church when she was in her twenties.

Her name is Tricia Erickson and she has written a book titled, “Can Mitt Romney Serve Two Masters? The Mormon Church Versus the Office of the Presidency of the United States of America.”

Here is the link to this news article if you would like to see the write up on this new book.

“Tricia Erickson”

For those of you who are really interested in this topic, you may want to consider taking a look at her book, since she knows very well the inner workings of the Mormon religion and why it may be very dangerous for us to have a Mormon as the next sitting president.

Conclusion

Again, we want to state that we really like Mitt Romney and his entire family. They appear to be very good people, as are many of the other people and families who are following this religion. But with this false religion coming direct from Satan himself, we as born-again Christians have to look very closely as to whether or not we want someone who is a devout follower of this false religion to be running our entire country for the next 4 years, if not the next 8 years.

The Bible tells us that God can remove kings and raise up kings in different countries when He wants to personally get involved. For those of you who were not aware of this verse, here it is:

Daniel answered and said: “Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, for wisdom and might are His. And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings …” (Daniel 2:20)

Since this is such a very important election, and with Mitt Romney now being the current front runner in most of the Republican polls, each Christian will now have to use their own discernment and get their own answer direct from God as to whether or not we want our next sitting president to be a devout follower of one of the worse false religions that Satan has ever started.

I know this is very heated rhetoric and will not be well received in the politically correct climate we are currently living in, but when you compare their basic tenets to our basic tenets, there is simply no room for compromise on some of these basic differences. The differences between the two of us are so far apart and so extreme, that there is no way we as Christians can ever accept them as a pure true branch of our faith.

We already have an article giving you the main basic tenets of the Christian faith. Here is the link to our article on this topic if you would like to compare our basic tenets to their basic tenets.

“The Basic Tenets of Christianity”

As you will see when reviewing our basic tenets, there is simply no other conclusion to come to other than the Mormon religion has come direct from Satan himself with the way all of their basic beliefs are running in direct opposition to all of our basic beliefs – which is something we would expect Satan to do if he is going to set up a false religious system that will try and rival ours.

I do not think it is a coincidence that many of the main beliefs of the Mormon religion are the exact opposite of what we believe in as Christians. These false beliefs have the hand of Satan all over them, as I do not think Joseph Smith would have been smart enough to conjure up such a wild story on how the big picture is all set up.

The fact that he claims to have had two visitations from two “personages,” and then an actual angel by the name of Moroni, all tell me that these were demons coming to him trying to appear as angels of light like they did with the religion of Islam.

And just like they did with Islam, they end up giving him a special book they could base their entire religion on, along with persuading millions of people to enter into it and follow it throughout the years. Satan has obviously used the same pattern and strategy to set up the Mormon religion as he did with the religion of Islam.

As such, we now have to decide if we want to vote for a man who is a devout follower of one of the worse false religions that Satan has ever started.

If a person is not a true born-again Christian as a result of not coming through the sacrificial death of Jesus on the cross, then he does not have the Holy Spirit on the inside of him. And if he does not have the Holy Spirit on the inside of him to help guide him in this life, then what kind of spirit is guiding him?

If a person truly had the Holy Spirit on the inside of him, then there would be no way he could remain in the Mormon religion, as God would be showing him very quickly the errors of this false religion.

Now, more than ever, I think we need a Spirit-filled Christian man or woman who knows how to hear from God and who knows how to be led by the Holy Spirit to be our next president. The Bible tells us in the end times that perilous times will come, and I do not think there is any doubt that we are now living in these end times with how bad things have gotten over the last 10 years or so.

We are truly living in perilous times and we now need, more than ever, a true man or woman of God to take over the reigns so God can properly guide them through His Holy Spirit as we journey further ahead into these very perilous times.

To every single Christian man or woman who is out there, we just ask that you pray to the Lord on who to vote for when the next presidential election is held next year. This election may just be the biggest election ever due to the bad condition our country is now in with us going further down into major debt and the unemployment numbers not getting any better.

In the meantime, please pray for Mitt Romney and his entire family so that God can move to show them the lies and deception that is really going on in the Mormon religion. Pray that God show them who the real Jesus Christ is, and that is is only through the real Jesus Christ and His sacrificial death on the cross that will give them true eternal life.
